Yeast Pyruvate Carboxylase

cover
When I came out of University during the last recession I volunteered at a lab at the Uni of Adelaide. The lab was John C Wallace's lab, where I did some work for visiting Professor John Cronan from the University of Illinois. I also did some work with Michelle Walker I was sequencing an iso gene from Yeast encoding the enzyme Pyruvate Carboxylase. When you sequence from a Eukaryote you need to sequence the garbage DNA, the exons as well as the handy introns.
